Samuel Second 09 1-13 Cinderella Story of the Bible

Greetings, dear hearts, in the Name of Jesus! What a joy it is to speak His Name and repeat His Story. I pray that you are prospering in the Spirit as you walk with Him, and that He is using you for His great Purpose in the earth and in the hearts of people whom He loves.

Every time I am exposed to the Bible story of the man named Mephibosheth, I am blessed and moved more than I can say. It is a fantastic story, a pattern-story of the love and grace of God, and a beacon light exposing all of the dimensions of His love and grace. I pray that you will print out this message based on his story and spend plenty of time studying and re-studying the story. Study it carefully and prayerfully. It will be worth more than the time you can give to it. I am always blessed with a new work of the Spirit each time I read, see, understand, and learn from this story. May the same be true of you today and in the days ahead. Here is the story of PURE GRACE, and we are all dependent upon that Gift. May God’s Spirit attend and guide you as you read and study.

I am hurried as I write, because I have a few urgent tasks to finish before I enter the hospital this morning for surgery (this afternoon). I am scheduled for a hip replacement (my right hip) this afternoon. This surgery is very common now, and modern technology has improved it so that it is just a “bump in the road”. After a growing experience of pain in my hip and knee, often making it a challenge to walk, and with careful analysis from several doctors, I am eager to submit to the surgical improvement. I will enjoy convalescence at home for a few short weeks, God willing, during which time I will study, write and do whatever duties I can do. Pray for me as you are reminded. May God be glorified and Jesus magnified in/by all of us.
